Detailed description:
Vertex V70 is a vacuum Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR) equipped for MIR measurements and connected to an infrared microscope Hyperion 3000. It serves for the chemical characterization of the functional groups within the sample by investigating their rotational and vibrational states. The spectrometer could be used alone in attenuated total reflectance (ATR) or transmission mode or in a tandem with the microscope. The microscope is equipped with a single channel mercury-cadmium-telluride (MCT) detector, a focal plane array (FPA) detector, and a combined optical lens with an ATR tip.
