Small growth chambers from Percival Scientific was specifically designed for growth of Arabidopsis plants. They provide adequate space for growing the plant to maturity under controlled temperature, humidity, and light conditions. It is possible to control temperature, humidity, and lighting events. Intensity is adjustable up to 250 µmoles/m2/s of light irradiance. Temperature range: +10° - +44° C lights on and +2° - +44° C lights off. For Percival located in A26 building it is possible to adjust various concentration of CO2 inside the growth chamber.

AlgaeTron AG 230 (PSI), a floor-standing incubated shaker, is available to provide uniform environment for controlled growing of algae, cyanobacteria and plant tissue cultures in Petri dishes or Erlenmeyer flasks.
